A graduate of CUNY’s Clinical Psychology Doctoral program and the William Alanson White Institute for Psychiatry, Psychology and Psychoanalysis, she has worked with individuals in the New York City area for 30 years. 10 years ago, she started Black Box Consulting and Coaching and incorporated that into her private practice. Whether helping people navigate difficult life transitions or motivating creatives to focus on their passions, she has developed a successful coaching business which she brings to her online program.

Kyana Brindle is a licensed psychotherapist, writer, and performer. She has worked at The Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy with a focus on the Psychoanalytic treatment model, as well as community-based mental health clinics in New York City. Kyana is also a Reiki Master and has honed an integrated, therapeutic regimen that she uses in her practice for over ten years. A dedicated artist, Kyana has been a part of various artists collectives, including 1N Media, with whom she has developed the Naked Layers project , a series of film vignettes exploring body image and identity. Having written and performed throughout the city for years, she created a one-woman show, “Between Spaces”, that premiered at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe. She holds an MA in Counseling from New York University, and has been facilitating groups and workshops for over twenty years as a mental health consultant, sexual health educator, and teaching artist, most recently with ArtisticConnections.
